I have TOTALLY had it with this little girl! If I have to repeat my self one more time I think I will totally loose it!
Confession - I did loose it, just this morning I lost it!
Here is how it happened..............
I had just finished cleaning HER room. Which by the way was a crazy awful mess! It was as though everything had been turned up side down. Anyway, I decided to throw the kids in the shower and get on with my day. I showered Creighton and had asked Kinsey 4 times, yes 4 times to get her clothes off and put them in the laundry. She had totally forgotten because she was so busy looking at herself in the mirror. So I asked her again with a tone that was a little more serious. She finally did and we got her all showered. I get her out and go in her room to help her get her clothes out of the closet and on her body when she throws a huge fit because I wont let her wear a skirt and a tank top. Its a little cold this morning to be wearing nothing! So after a huge fit and some compromise I tell her to get dressed. That girl looked me straight in the face and said NO! I then told her I would help her and to come closer to me so I could help. She looked me straight in the face and again said NO! Ok, I am getting a little HOT at this point. And then I loose it! TOTALLY LOOSE IT! I picked up her clothes threw them on the floor spanked her butt. Yes you read that right. I spanked my kids butt and I yelled as I left her room "I'M SO DONE!" I waited about 5 minutes before I went back in her room to help her, but lets be honest I needed to cool off before I beat the crap out of her!
So just in case anyone is wondering why I am throwing all this out into the blogging world it is because she may remember the day her mom lost it and if she does I want her to know I really do love her to pieces and I think she is really fun and super funny! Also I hope someday when she has grown out of the NEVER ENDING TERRIBLE TWOS AND THREES AND NOW FOURS that we can be the best of friends just like my mother and me! I LOVE YOU KINSEY with all my heart!
This post is for journal purpose. I am hoping I read this again tomorrow and learn something!

Oh I totally understand!! I have had probably one too many of these kind of days! You know me, I NEVER yell! Haha! yeah right! Well, I love how you made it a learning experience...for all!! And I LOVE that picture of Kinsey! SO CUTE! How can you possibly get mad at that face?!!
You are human! I put Lauren (7) in the shower with her clothes ON about 2 months ago. She refused to get in, we were going to be late, so I gave the option; she could get in on her own, or I would help her get in. She stomped her foot and grunted, so I helped her. I wasn't going to strip her clothes off of her because I think that's a little violating, so I just picked her up and put her in with all of her clothes on. She was so shocked! (and cried) I haven't had a problem since. :-)
sometimes i feel like this and my kid can't even talk yet!!! i'm screwed ;)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading your blog because you are so REAL! ---LOSING IT happens...to EVERYONE....PROBABLY daily-or hourly depending on the day! Thank you for making me seem normal-yeah I am not the only one that gets SOOO MAD :) Lets all hope we have a good day tomorrow:)
