40 Weeks & Counting

Today marks 40 weeks of pregnancy.  Someone is teaching me patience.  And I need it.  I actually feel really good other than the massive swelling in my legs, feet and hands.  My hands are totally numb, you know that fallen asleep feeling, I have that all the time in my hands.  My kids are wondering why in the world the paper chain is done and the baby is still in my belly.  After my doctors appointment yesterday I had a little pity party while on the phone with my mom.  Kinsey asked me what was wrong and why I was crying.  I told her I am so done having this baby in my belly!  Her very sweet and concerned reply was "Is it because everyone keeps telling you how fat you are?"  Kids are so awesome like that!!  I love her for making me laugh and not even knowing she was lifting my spirits.  I cant wait to meet this little boy but until he makes his grand entrance I am going to be grateful and try to love my very fat and very swollen feet!
